Commco was opened on 1st April 2001 by Michael Robson and his brother after they
had left a well established Printing Company. Michael had worked with this
company since leaving School in all departments from Artwork & Admin to Print Production and Finishing. Commco’s main focus in 2001 was to supply “Quality Printing at Unbeatable Prices”
After 4 years of successfully winning new customers by showing them how much we
could save them not only on General printed stationery, brochures, marketing
material and promotional items we added Office Supplies to our company with
Michaels sister Marie joining after she had left a long established local
office supplies company.
Commco today supply Print, Design, Marketing, Promotional Items, Workwear & Office Supplies.
We are very much a family run business Michael and Marie are Co-Owners, Maries
Partner Steven is one of our Account Managers. General Manager Lisa Francis,
whos main aim is Customer Service, being the Sister-in-Law of Steven Francis
and of course to keep us all in line we have Michael & Maries Mam, Val on hand who is always there to remind us to tidy up after
ourselves.
When planning what my business would be all about my main focus was on giving
customers the very best price, it was and still is of course all about price
but with that the quality must be there.
I also decided we would be unique at the time in that we would not charge for
artwork, plates or any deisgn work making it easier for customers to move away
from their current supplier that was simply over charging them.
My aim for Commco now is to save all customers on their print spend across the
board no matter what product they are purchasing and I am confident that my
promise of unbeatable prices will save any company money no matter what size or
business type.
